Services built for clarity and reliability

Verid Weather offers a suite of services designed to deliver precise, local, and timely weather information. Our Services overview explains the combination of automated data collection, ensemble modeling, and local adjustments we use to create forecasts and alerts. We prioritize short, actionable messages for mobile devices and rich, low-latency feeds for integration. Our product portfolio ranges from free local forecasts and advice content to paid API access and enterprise feeds with service-level agreements. Each offering is backed by performance monitoring and validation, ensuring transparency and continuous improvement. Choose the delivery method that fits your needs: lightweight widgets for public websites, webhook or email alerts for operations, or high-frequency API streams for product integrations. Our team supports onboarding, configuration, and optional dedicated SLAs. For customers with specialized needs we provide custom feeds, historical data exports, and consultancy to align forecasts with operational requirements.

What we offer

Our core products are crafted to meet diverse use cases and technical requirements. Local Forecasts provide concise hourly and daily guidance focused on specific coordinates, with neighborhood-scale refinement so that microclimate differences are respected. Severe Alerts deliver prioritized notifications for storms, flooding, and heat events; they can be routed through email, webhooks, or partner channels. API Access offers programmatic retrieval of forecast grids, observations, and historical records with configurable frequency and retention. Enterprise Solutions include guaranteed uptime, dedicated support, and customizable data schemas to feed operational systems. Each product is layered with quality control and transparency: we include timestamps, ingest provenance, and uncertainty estimates where applicable. Documentation and SDKs streamline integration and testing. Small teams can start with our free tier and scale to paid plans as usage grows. We also offer consultation to help design the right combination of feeds and delivery for event management, logistics, and public safety applications.

How our pipeline works

Our pipeline ingests observations from many sources and runs them through an automated validation and fusion layer. We collect local station readings, community sensors, road and marine observations, and satellite products in near real time. These inputs are quality-checked to remove obvious errors and are then used with multiple numerical models. We produce an ensemble blend and run statistical post-processing to remove systematic biases based on recent observations. Local adjustment modules apply microclimate corrections using station clusters and terrain-aware weights. Final outputs include deterministic forecasts for quick decisions and probabilistic guidance for risk-aware planning. Delivery options are flexible: we publish human-readable summaries and widgets for public pages, webhook or email alerts for operations, and bulk or streaming API endpoints for system integrations. Monitoring and verification are continuous. We track model accuracy across regions and lead times, allowing us to adapt model weights and improve performance over time.

Onboarding and support

We provide onboarding support to get integrations live quickly. For API customers we offer documentation, example requests, and SDKs. Enterprise customers receive a dedicated onboarding manager and optional integration workshops. SLAs specify latency and availability targets, and our status page provides incident information and maintenance notifications. Support is available during business hours, with 24 7 escalation options for mission-critical feeds. We maintain runbooks and testing environments so you can validate forecasts before production rollout. Security is an essential part of our offering: APIs use TLS and token-based authentication, and access permissions can be scoped per endpoint. If you need sample payloads, test endpoints, or help designing alert thresholds, our team will assist with configuration and validation to match your operational needs.
